little throw back here. i miss 90’s r n b. thats my shit right there.
i used to bump this when i was a little shit stain. at times like im going through right now this is a tough one to listen to.
while were on the subject here’s a joint that i found recently that ive been looking for, for ages.
i always thought it was tevin campbell that sang it but it was jesse powell.
Jesse Powell - you
damn i can’t be watching these videos right now i might have to jump off a bridge. on the real though.
it’s messed how we choose to listen, read, watch things that are sad when we are feeling down. i say we cuz ive talked to other people who do the same thing.
honestly though, im glad i grew up in the era i did and was able to enjoy the music when it came out…
i dont have the video to POSt up yet, but i probably will in due time. heres a couple of pictures that i took at the rza concert in vancouver 2008.
probably the biggest let down that ive ever faced when it comes to a rap show. i was expecting to hear rzas beats pound through the system. instead i heard some neo soul bands rendition. they were a good band, dont get me wrong, just didnt want ot hear them at all. oh well. i have the gza liquid swords show to look forward to.
here is a video i found of rza live with a band. it sounds and looks as though it may be the same band.
and what’s the deal with beretta9 changing his name to kinetic9?
The Beatnuts are a hip hop group and production duo from Queens, New York City. Its current members are the Dominican producer-rapper JuJu (Jerry Tineo) and the Colombian producer-rapper Psycho Les (Lester Fernandez). JuJu is from Jackson Heights and Psycho Les is from Corona. The Beatnuts are the only Latino members of the Native Tongues Family. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged by Q-Tip, who has shouted them out at least twice on record (once in 1991 and once in 1996).

this is a madd flashback. i never knew there was a video for this joint. i used to hear this on our local hiphop radio show back in the day ‘morning drive-by’ hosted by maximus clean.
it’s videos like this that put some things into perspective for me. seeing these broads dressed so thugged out and acting hard. you would never catch that shit in vancouver at all.
a couple of my favorite parts to this video are when they are rapping in the cave and partying madd hard. who made that desicion.? haha
plus at 1:30-1:36 where the dude on the far left is hanging on the window bars just jamming out doing his jig. he just seems so silly for doing so. imo.
A group composed of Ol’ Dirty Bastard and his close associates 12 O’Clock, Shorty Shitstain, Murdock, Zu Keeper, Silkski, Buddha Monk, and Dthedragon on the westcoast.[citation needed] First heard on Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. The group has made a number of Wu album appearances since, and have also recorded a number of tracks which later appeared on Popa Wu’s Visions of the 10th Chamber. They were once collectively tied with the “old” United Kingdom group. 12 O’Clock is ODB’s younger brother. In summer 2008 they released an album called Chamber #9, Verse 32. It features several clan members, including the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, GZA, RZA, Shyheim, Prodigal Sunn, Killah Priest and Masta Killa.
shorty shitstain has got to be the one my favorite rap names of all time.
i never realized it was one group that did so many designs for southern rap artists of the 90’s.
everywhere you looked on the shelves these designs were blinging out of control! i used to love looking at the source ads in the back with all the different no limit cds and checking off the ones i had on my shelf.
